"Autumn Leaves" is a song often performed in instrumental settings by Jazz musicians,
owing to its simple AABC musical form and harmony consisting almost solely of ii-V-I and ii-V
chord sequences. Originally it was a 1945 French song, "Les Feuilles mortes" (literally meaning
"The Dead Leaves"), with music by Hungarian-French composer Joseph Kosma. Often played in
the key of g minor, my version for solo Classical Guitar adopts the idiomatic key setting of d minor.
